Mount Everest country, lies in the Mahalangur Himalayas section of Nepal by making a line of a divider in between two countries of Nepal and China. Along with the range of Mt. Everest, other high mountains such as Lhotse 8,516m, Nuptse 7,855m, Changtse 7,580, Khumbutse 6,366m, etc. are also standing impressively to add the flame of beauty. Peoples from the earth recognize this peak with 6 different names; Mt Everest, Peak XV, Third Pole, Qomolangma, Sagarmatha, and Daudhunga. All the names have their own history.
Many adventure lovers attempts to climb Mt. Everest every year mainly in two different seasons; spring and autumn. Mt. Everest Expedition has mainly two climbing routes: the standard route which goes from the southeast part of Nepal and the northern one from the Tibet side. Equipment Checklist
For a successful and safe expedition to high-altitude peaks, an extensive and reliable set of equipment is essential. Here is a list of the primary items you'll need:
1. Clothing
Base Layers: Thermal tops and bottoms that wick moisture.
Mid Layers: Fleece or wool jackets and pants for insulation.
Outer Shells: Waterproof and windproof jacket and pants (Gore-Tex or similar).
Down Suit or Heavy down Jacket & Pants: Essential for extreme cold.
Gloves: Inner liner gloves, heavy insulated gloves, and waterproof over-gloves.
Headwear: Warm hat, balaclava, sun hat, and neck gaiter for various conditions.
Socks: Several pairs of wool/synthetic socks and insulated socks for higher altitudes.
2. Footwear
High-Altitude Boots: Double or triple-layered boots designed for cold and high altitudes.
Gaiters: Protect boots and legs from snow and debris.

Frequently asked question (FAQ'S)
Normally, within 12-24 hours after ascending a certain height (1,500 to 2,500 meter above sea level) altitude sickness symptoms like fatigue, loss of appetite, dizziness, sleep problems, shortness of breath, and loss of energy can be seen. The main reason for altitude sickness is rapid ascending to high altitude. In case of any altitude sickness symptoms we will descend immediately for acclimatization and apply medication.
Measures for preventing and treating Acute Mountain Sickness:
- Avoid rapid traveling to high altitude.
- In case of any symptoms stop and rest where you are for at least 24 to 48 hours.
- Avoid strenuous exercise.
- If you feel sick, take an anti-sickness medicine, such as promethazine/diamox.
- Make sure you're drinking adequate amount of water.
- Avoid smoking and drinking alcohol.
- Eat light but high in calorie diet food.
