The weather didn’t always cooperate, the trails were often more exhausting than expected, and, yes, there were times when he wondered if he was cut out for this. But it was on those tough days that Pralad learned the most, not just about the mountains, but about himself.

Through each trek, Pralad gained something more than just experience. He learned about the people he guided, the cultures they brought with them, and the quiet wisdom of the mountains. He soon realized that trekking was not just about reaching the peak, but about the journey itself—the conversations shared, the moments of silence in the vast landscapes, and the small triumphs along the way. It was this deeper understanding that pushed him forward, even when things seemed impossible.

After years of working with various companies, Pralad’s dream of having his own company slowly began to take shape. It was a dream built on the foundation of everything he had learned on the trails, from guiding clients to understanding what they truly needed. And so, Adventure Mountain Treks got a new member in 2024. But it wasn’t just about starting a business. It was about creating an experience that combined everything he loved: the peace found in yoga and meditation, the deep connection with nature, and the sense of adventure that comes from the mountains.

Pralad’s love for yoga and meditation has always been central to his life. He believes that these practices are just as important on a trek as they are in daily life. They teach balance, patience, and self-awareness—all qualities that make a good trek even better. It’s not about rushing to the finish line, but about embracing each step along the way, just as one would embrace each breath in yoga. And just as his vegetarian diet nourishes his body, he believes that a nourishing journey is one that feeds the soul.

Field Manager as well as Climbing & Trekking Guide

Sonam Ngima Sherpa is a highly experienced trekking and peak climbing guide from Nepal with more than two decades of experience in the Himalayan tourism industry. He began his journey as a trekking porter in 2001 and earned his official trekking guide license in 2007. Since then, he has guided trekkers and climbers across many of Nepal’s famous trekking regions and high mountain passes.

He is professionally trained in emergency first aid and mountain safety, providing confidence and security to trekkers throughout their journeys in the Himalayas.

Sonam has successfully climbed several trekking peaks up to 6,470 meters, including:

Pradip Sharma is a Partner and international representative of company.  Being brought up in the hilly region Dhading, one of the heavenly places of Nepal and also, Nepal itself is a mountainous land, his interest and passion is connected with nature.
His hobby of traveling and trekking turned to be a blessing in his career when he persuaded his bachelor’s degree in Travel and Tourism Management (BTTM) in 2013 and started working in travel and trekking cooperation at various departments. Then, He got specialized with a Masters Degree in Nepalese History, Culture and Archaeology in 2015 from Tribhuwan University. Along with this, he also completed his second master’s degree in Travel and Tourism Management (MTTM). Since 2016, he has been involved in Adventure Mountain Treks (p) ltd, as a managing director along with managerial activity. Besides business activities, Pradip Sharma is a part-time lecturer of travel and tourism in some reputed colleges of Nepal which as lead him towards the deep study of tourism needs and safety all round. Being a self-made well professional person in the Nepalese tourism field, he has gained practical knowledge & experience of guiding trekkers and handling every tour with the government certified Travel and Trek guide license.

The excellent interpersonal communication skill and visionary action of him have made him more responsible and dedicated towards his duties and responsibilities. His charismatic problem-solving approach and self-motivation is a thing that has helped him to establish as a successful person. He has a strong belief that his prime responsibility is making his client happy and contented.
