Nar Phu Valley With Annapurna Circuit, The diverse landscapes covered by the Himalayas presents the breath taking panorama of sky-scraping mountains and adventurous trekking. The popular Mt Annapurna range is the world's 10th highest mountain. Many other giant peaks when seen from the Annapurna base camp appear to be astounding. The trek begins from the beautiful Chamje village all the way through glorious land Beshisahar. Nar Phu Valley with Annapurna Circuit Overview

Crossing the river bridges and the forest covered with rhododendrons leads to the small cultural villages-koto, Singenge, Kayang. Travelers gets an offer to touch on their lifestyle and culture. The least explored significant villages "Phu" and "Nar" reflects the medieval Tibetan society . It requires the special permit from Nepal Government to step through.
Take a step and visit the wonderful Tibetan Plateau and one of the 108's world's great Buddhist monasteries constructed by Karmapa Rinpoche which is also known as known as Tashi Lakhang Monastery believed as his last creation. Day by Day Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m/4,592ft) and transfer to Hotel.

Our team will pick you from the international airport of Kathmandu and from there, we transfer you to the hotel or resort. Accommodation:Hotel or Resort as per your request Meal includes: Breakfast. We prefer BB plan for your stay in cities so you can choose varieties of tastes in different restaurants around the city.

Day 02: Guided tour around world’s Heritage sites of Kathmandu.

Before you begin your trekking, spend a worthy day in Kathmandu with a day sightseeing tour experience around world heritage sites of UNESCO. Kathmandu valley contains seven world heritage sites of UNESCO, you can choose 3-4 places for a day sightseeing tour.

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Chamje (1,410m/4,626ft) via Beshisahar (823m/2,699ft).

Our team will start the trek by a drive from Kathmandu to reach at Chamje located at the middle of glorious backdrop associated with towering Annapurna mountain range. Before reaching to Chamje, we have to cross through blacktopped roads of Besishahar.

Day 04: Trek from Chamje to Dharapani (1,860m/6,100ft) (5-6 hrs walk).

We will continue with our trek by passing through a succession of various rock-strewn mountains, while meander across the cliffs and waterfalls to reach at Dharapani finally after we cross the suspension bridge.

Day 05: Trek from Dharapani to Koto (2,600m/8,528ft) (5-6 hrs walk).

On today’s trek, you will get excellent views of the Mount Manaslu, Peak 29 and other nearby peaks, along with a glimpse of Annapurna II mountain to reach to the Koto village.

Day 06: Trek from Koto to Singenge (3,230m/10,594ft) (6-7 hrs walk).

On sixth day of our trek, we will go for a walk of about 6 hours to reach to Singenge from Koto. On reaching there, we have to set up tented camps, as similar to other adventure trekkers.

Day 07: Trek from Singenge to Kyang (4,100m/13,448ft) (6-7 hrs walk).

Now, we further move ahead from tented camps to reach to Kyang, which constitute a part of the mount Dhaulagiri and belongs to southwestern part of Phedi.

Day 08: Trek from Kyang to Phu (4,580m/15022ft ) (5-6 hrs walk).

Our team will take you to follow an amazing tunnel carved mountain rocky path of about 70meters over the river and follow the respective riverbed to pass a few Mani Chrotens. Finally, we climb up to the entrance of Phu valley and about one hour from its entrance, we will cross Phu Khola and start with climbing ups the village.

Day 09: Free day at Phu Village. Explore numerous numbers of monasteries.

Today, we will have a free day at the Phu village for rest and acclimatization. In addition, on the same day, we go to explore a famous and an old monastery of Buddhist i.e. Tashi Lakhang Monastery. Specialty of this monastery is that it has gained the name among 108 worldwide great monasteries of Buddhism religion and the last monastery established by Karmapa Rinpoche. If this is not enough, the valley allows us to explore the cultural avenues present in the lost valley of Phu Village and at the same time, give us stunning views of the Himlung Himal and other snowy mountain peaks of the region.

Day 10: Trek from Phu to Lower Cheyako (3,450m/11,316ft) (5-6 hrs walk).

We have to retrace the journey towards lower Cheyako by passing from Kyang and then to the upper Cheyako by following the downstream walk of Phu Khola.

Day 11: Trek from Lower Cheyako to Nar Valley (4,110m/13,480ft ) (5-6 hrs walk).

Our walk will follow the same trekking route for about 2 hours to reach at Mahendra bridge nearby Naar Phedi and later on, follow another walk of 2 hours to reach to the Naar enclosed village via small Yughat villages and various chorten and mani Buddhist shrines.

Day 12: Trek from Nar Valley to Kangla Phedi (4,530m/14,858ft) (4-5 hrs walk).

Once we spend a wonderful time at Nar Valley, our walk will go ahead towards the western area and will pass through a hydro project belonging to a remote valley and finally reach to the bottom of Kangla Phedi.

Day 13: Trek from Kangla Phedi to Ngawal (3,660m/12,004ft ) via Kangla Pass (5,306m/17403ft) (7-8 hrs walk).

We continue with our walk over the slow uphill wade many small streams and head towards to any steep notch after completing a strenuous climb of about one hour. Moreover, we get views of various glacial lakes across the big rock wall present on the western region and follow a steep moraine path towards the bottom at about 4,520meters. Finally, our walk will go through open grassland all of our ways towards Ngawal or Nawal Village after a hard walk for many days.

Day 14: Trek from Ngwal to Manang (3,800m/12,464ft).

On this day, our walk gives you constant views of various snow-covered mountain peaks and steep walk for about an hour. Later on, we reach to top of the ridge after following a small gradual walk to get outstanding views of a U shaped wide valley named Manang Valley that hangs in between two different lines of snow peaks. This grand spot has dramatic views of valleys, Hongdre village and various short airstrip and great mountain peaks of Annapurna II, Annapurna III, Gangapurna as well as Tilocho mountain peaks. In addition, you will find Pisang peak at the back and Chuli peak at the rightward direction. Later on, walk goes downhill to Hongdre, from where you have to follow a moderate trek towards Manang to add some altitude walk while you reach nearby the village of Manang and Braga, while a visit to the Braga Monastery. From this point, walk for an hour to reach to Manang.

Day 15: Rest and acclimatisation at Manang.

We allow you to have a rest day to explore the entire Manang village consisting of 500 flat-roofed houses is the picturesque set among a few spectacular sceneries, such as Annapurna II, Annnapurna III, Tilicho, Gangapurna and Grand Barrier towards Chullu West as well as Chullu East at the North.

Day 16: Trek from Manang to Yak Kharka (4,110m/13,484ft) (3-4 hrs walk).

After we spend a good time in the Manang village, we gradually go for an hour to get grand views of famous mountain peaks and our trail go up in windswept landscapes containing juniper bushes and finally, reach at small settlements of Yak-Kharka region.

Day 17: Trek from Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi (4,600m/15,092ft) (3-4 hrs walk).

Today, we will pass from a small place called Ledar consisting of few lodges and then, move on to the arid terrain to reach at Upper Thorang Phedi during the nighttime.

Day 18: Trek to Muktinath (3,800m/12,467ft) via Thorang La Pass (5,416m/17,764ft) (7-8 hrs walk).

On this day of the trek, we will catch some of the best sceneries of Damudhar, northern Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Bhirkuti and various other mountain ranges. Later on, we follow zigzag trail to reach at the top of Thorang La pass to get excellent views of high mountain peaks in the Himalayan region. Finally, we follow a descent path from Mount Dhaulagiri to reach to the sacred village named Muktinath, known as a holy place and view pilgrim sites belonging to both India and Nepal.

Day 19: Trek from Muktinath to Jomsom (2,730m/8,954ft) (3-4 hrs walk).

Our walk will follow a gentle trail of two hours to reach a large town and headquarter of Mustang region named Jomsom.

Day 20: Fly to Pokhara. Sightseeing, boating or free for any other personal activities.

On the morning, we take a flight to the Pokhara. Depending upon the schedule of the flight, we require only half hour time to Pokhara.

Day 21: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu.

Finally, our team will let you drive back to the capital city Kathmandu from Pokhara. In the evening, join a grand farewell dinner program with typical Nepali cultural show.

Day 22: Farewell, departure transfer to Airport as per flight schedule.

We give a warm farewell and transfer you to the Tribhuvan International Airport.

Is It difficult to trek to Nar Phu Valley with Annapurna Circuit ?

Nar Phu Valley with Annapurna Circuit Trek is a fairly-strenuous level of trekking route. Although There are numerous challenges like the rugged terrain, steep slopes, trekking route through stone stairs and continuous walking of 5 to 6 hours per day. Do we need oxygen on Nar Phu Valley with Annapurna Circuit Trek ?

We will start our trek from Chamje (1,410m/4,626ft) and ascend up to Thorong Phedi (4,600m/15,092ft). We have created Itinerary in proportion to proper accommodation so normally we don’t need oxygen on this trek. In case of altitude sickness we will descend immediately. If any altitude sickness symptoms are seen then we provide Diamox as a medication.
