Beautiful Arun Valley is a place sandwiched between Makalu Barun National Park and world’s highest Sagarmatha (Everest) National Park. Arun Valley to EBC trek is the best alternative of Everest region trekking which starts from rarely explored Arun valey and adjoins with a classic trail of Jiri to Everest Base Camp Trek.

Amazing Arun Valley is a place from where we can have amazing views of both Makalu and Everest Himalayan ranges. Arun Valley to Everest Base Camp Trek also provides few number of optional routes as per the preference of trekkers. Either the trek can end at Jiri Charikot Bazaar or end at Lukla (the entrance of Everest Base Camp). Continue up to Everest Base Camp and Kalapatthar as like this itinerary. Day by Day Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m/4,592ft) and transfer to Hotel.

As soon as you reach Kathmandu, you will picked and taken to the Hotel as per your choice accommodation and according to them they prefer to offer BB Plan for your stay in cities so that you can choose various tastes of dishes in different restaurants around the city.

Day 02: Guided tour around world’s Heritage sites of Kathmandu.

We will take you for a tour around the world’s Heritage sites of Kathmandu. Your accommodation will be in the Hotel/Resort with Breakfast.

Day 03: Fly from Kathmandu to Tumlingtar & Drive to Kartikeghat (840m/2,755ft ) (45 min flight & 4 hrs drive).

Fly from Kathmandu to Tunlingtar and drive to Kartikeghat which is at an altitude of 2755 ft. The flight takes almost 45 min and the drive will be about 4 hours. Stay will be in the Tea house will full board meal which includes breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Day 04: Trek from Kartikeghat to Gothe bazaar (800m/2,624ft) (5-6 hrs walk).

Trekking begins from Kartikeghat to Gothe bazaar at 2624 ft altitude which is 5 to 6 hrs walk with accommodation in Tea House will be made available. Meal includes full board.

Day 05: Trek from Gothe Bazaar to Salpa Phedi (2,415m/7,921ft) (5-6 hrs walk).

Continue to trek from Gothe Bazaar to Salpa Phedi at 7921ft for 5 to 6 hr walk. Accommodation at Teal house and Full board meal.

Day 06: Trek from Salpa Phedi to Guranse (3,075m/10086ft) (5-6 hrs walk).

Trek further continues to Guranse at 10086 ft height with 5 to 6 hours walk and say in Tea house with full board meal.

Day 07: Trek from Guranse to Guidel (1,640m/5,379ft) via Salpa pass (3,570m/11,710ft ) (6-7 Hhs walk).

Now, our team will take you trek to Guidel 5379 ft via Salpa Pass 11710 ft with 5 to 6hrs walk. Stay at the tea house and full board meal.

Day 08: Trek from Guidel to Khiraule (2,360m/7,741ft) (3-4 hrs walk).

Guide to Khiraule trekking at the height of 7741 ft need 3 to 4 hours walk. Accommodation will be Tea House and full board meal.

Day 09: Trek from Khiraule to Ghai Kharka (2,450m/8,036ft) via Surkie La pass (3,100m/1,0168ft) (5-6 hrs walk).

Trek from Khiraule to Ghai Kharka at 8036 ft altitude via Surkie La Pass 10168 ft need 5 to 6 hrs walk and resting in the Tea House will be available with full board dinner.

Day 10: Trek from Ghai Kharka to Pangbung (2,670m/8,758ft) (5-6 hrs walk).

You will have visit to Pangbung 8758 ft with Tea house available. Meal will be full board that includes all.

Day 11: Trek from Pangbung to Bupsa (2,350m/7,708ft) (5-6 hrs walk).

Trek to Bupsa 7708 ft walking for 5 to 6 hrs and get accommodation in the tea house with full board meal.

Day 12: Trek from Buspa to Surkey (2,400m/7,872ft) (5-6 hrs walk).

Continue to trek from Buspa to Surkey 7872 ft and walking for 5 to 6 hrs with accommodation in Tea House will be available and full board meal.

Day 13: Trek from Surkey to Phakding (2,652m/8,698ft) (4-5 hrs walk).

Move ahead trekking to Phakding at 8698 ft walking for about 4 to 5 hours. Accommodation will be 4 to 5 hrs with full board meal.

Day 14: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,283ft) (5-6 hrs walk).

Our team take you have to further trek to Namche Bazaar 11283 ft altitude with 5 to 6 hrs walk and tea house will be provided for stay and full board meal.

Day 15: Rest day at Namche Bazaar for acclimatization and excursion around the places.

This day will be resting day at Namche Bazaar for adaptation of the area and go for excursion around the places and rest at the tea house with full board meal.

Day 16: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,867m/12,684ft) (5-6 hrs walk).

Start your trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche which is 12684 ft altitude requires 5 to 6 hrs walk and resting place at tea house and enjoy the full board meal.

Day 17: Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche (4,358m/14,294ft) (5-6 hrs walk).

Thereafter move to Dingboche 14294 ft height and stay arrangement in tea house with full board meal.

Day 18: Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche (4,928m/16,164ft ) (5-6 hrs walk).

Breakfast at teahouse. Today we follow Khumber Khola valley to reach Dughla. Then again we follow Dusa and Phulong Karpo valley where we can see wonderful Chola Lake and Mt. Pumori. We cross Dughla where we see Khumbu Glacier. Along the trail we also can see memorials Chhortens of those Sherpa who lost their lives in Everest Expedition. Again we walk gradual ascend trail all the way to Lobuche.

Day 19: Trek from Lobuche to Gorakshep (5,160m/16,925ft) & continue to Everest Base Camp (5,380m/17,646ft) then back to Gorakshep (6-7 hrs walk) .

Trek further to Gorakshep from Lobuche 16925 ft and continue to Everest Base camp and then return to Gorakshep. This fully requires 6 to 7 hrs walk. Accommodation will be provided in tea house with full board dinner.

Day 20: Morning hike to Kalapathar (5,545m/18,187ft) and trek to Pheriche (4,243m/13,917ft) (5-6 hrs walk).

We will go for a hike in the morning to Kalapathar 18187 ft and trek to Pheriche 13917 ft needs 5 to 6 hours walk. And stay at tea house with full board meal.

Day 21: Trek from Pheriche to Tengboche (4-5 hrs walk).

Today, you will experience an interesting day of your entire trek, as you will be able to explore the entire Tengboche region, visit the monastery and be the part of various interesting activities. Only, you require 4-to5 hrs walk and finally stay at teahouse with full board meal.

Day 22: Trek from Tengboche to Monjo (2,835m/9,299ft) via Namche Bazaar (5-6 hrs walk).

Tengboche to Monjo trek via Namche (5 to 6hrs) accommodation and full board meal at the Teahouse.

Day 23: Trek back to Lukla (5 hrs walk).

Now trek back to Lukla which 5 hrs walk and get accommodated at the tea house with full board meal facility.

Day 24: Fly back to Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel.

Fly back to Kathmandu and get shifted to hotel accommodation where you will be provided with breakfast and farewell dinner.

Day 25: Final departure. Drop to airport as per flight schedule.

We offer you farewell, and take you to Tribhuwan International Airport for your return journey, after giving you a delicious breakfast.

Normally, Within 12-24 hours after ascending a certain height(1,500 to 2,500 meter above sea level) altitude sickness symptoms like dizziness, fatigue, loss of appetite, sleep problems, loss of energy, and shortness of breath are seen. In case of any altitude sickness symptoms we will apply medication and descend immediately for acclimatization.
