Day by Day Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m/4,592ft) and transfer to Hotel.

Coming via flight, you land at the Kathmandu Airport where you are greeted by our executive team. They welcome you to the beautiful land of Nepal and arrange for the transfer to the hotel. If you arrive early in the day, you can go for sightseeing according to your comfort.

Day 02: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (820m/2,689ft).

On the next morning, you leave for the next destination i.e. Pokhara. On the way to Pokhara, you get the chance to visit the Kurintar/Manakamana (1600m) temple. It is a very popular and ancient temple in Tibet. Devotees come from far-off places to visit this temple to fulfil their wishes. The journey to the temple via cable-car gives you an exciting view of the onward journey to Mustang region. After visiting the temple, we transfer you to Pokhara.

Day 03-04: Biking in the Pokhara Valley.

Your real adventure starts on day 3 of your trip when you reach Pokhara Valley. There are numerous trails for the bikers like you but some are obviously better and safer than others. Our team will guide to the best and safest trails where you can cover a distance of around a 60-80km exploring the valley. You can also take an adventurous ride to the local hills in the complete guidance of our team. It is a bit challenging but offers an amazing view of the region from the top of the hill.

Day 05: Morning flight to Jomsom (2,730m/8,954ft) & Ride to Kagbeni (2,810m/9,216ft).

After a couple of days at Pokhara, we head towards Jomsom for the real adventure. We would prefer to take a flight from Pokhara to Jomson if the weather conditions are good. In the case of poor weather, we have an alternate arrangement in the form of a Jeep that will take you the destination safely. For the rest of the day, you can relax and get used to the conditions at the higher altitude where air starts to get thin. You can also go for sightseeing according to your comfort. The view of the mountains is always tempting and thus you would more likely go for the second option.

Day 06: Ride from Kagbeni to Muktinath (3,800m/12,467ft).

This is truly the entry point to the Lower Mustang Valley. The rider after this point will only take you higher to closer to the highest point of the trip, the Muktinath (3800m). Riding uphill is a unique experience with the mind-blowing view from that height. Also, there are few interesting villages on the way including Jharkot village. Muktinath is a special place for the Hindu and Buddhist pilgrims who view it as the land of salvation. But, you do not need necessarily need to be a pilgrim to enjoy the ride as it has a lot to offer. Here, you will stay at the Muktinath guest house.

Day 07: Ride from Muktinath to Marpha (2,670m/8,758ft).

From Muktinath (3800m) we move a little higher to the summit (4200m). It is all a downhill ride from here on through a single trek. It is certainly going to be the most adventurous ride of your life coming straight down through Lupra valley. After a memorable day, ride all the way down to the headquarter of the Mustang district for some rest. Here, you will get a chance to visit the beautiful apple gardens of Marpha village and enjoy the popular apple brandy.

Day 08: Ride from Marpha to Larjung (2,550m/8364ft).

The ride continues from Marpha to the Larjung where you the company of Kali Gandaki River flowing in parallel to the trek. There is also a nice seasonal bridge that connects you further to the single-track on the other side. By the afternoon, you will reach Larjung. It is a small village where you can have your lunch and collect some energy for riding further. There are places to stay here but we will take you the nearby village of Sukung and then to the pine forests where we will spend the whole night in peace at the rest house.

Day 09: Ride from Larjung to Tatopani (1,190m/3,903ft).

After spending about a week riding in the higher altitude (around 2500m), we will now be heading downhill to an altitude of around 1200m. You will feel the difference as there will be a lot more air to breathe and more oxygen reaching to your lungs. On the way down to Tatopani, we will come across a few more villages. An important attraction of the ride is the Kaligandaki River Valley that is part of the ride. You will be really exhausted and tired by the end of the day but you will not feel it anymore. Tatopani is a natural hot spring that will rejuvenate your body and the soul.

Day 10: Ride from Tatopani to Sarankot (1,592m/5,223ft) via Beni (830m/2,722ft).

In the final ride of the Mustang Region, we will be visiting some more villages while travelling to Beni. It will also give you an opportunity to explore some ancient temples and dense forests. Beni will be the final destination from where you will be transferred to Sarankot via van. You would the love staying at the Sarankot because of the majestic view of the Annapurna Himalayan range from the balcony.

Day 11: Ride from Sarankot to Lakeside Pokhara.

The view of the Himalayan peaks is only going to get better with the sunrise in the morning. The breakfast in the middle of the beautiful mountain peaks all around you would make you want to stay there forever. The lunch is going to be special as we will ride to the Lakeside for a memorable lunch. The rest of the day will be all yours to rest or take a walk around.

Day 12: Rest day in Pokhara.

This will the complete rest day where you can take some breathe and plan your further journey. However, it will not be about resting at the hotel but spending some peaceful moments by the side of the Lake at Pokhara valley. We can arrange for more fun if you want to go for a ride around the nearby area.

Day 13: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu.

After about two weeks of the mind blowing trip, we come to the end of the trip at Pokhara. However, it does not mean the end of all the adventures. You can request for an extension to the trip and we will be happy to arrange for more adventure with events like canyoning, water rafting and paragliding. In case you do not, we will arrange the suitable transfer to the Kathmandu airport.

Day 14: Final departure. Drop to airport as per flight schedule.
