Kathmandu to Nagarkot day Hike is a very popular hiking route of Nepal since it is a short walk and gives natural feel as same as trekking over any remote hills of Nepal. Our hike actually starts after a short drive from Kathmandu to Changu Narayan Temple (oldest Hindu temple and also a world heritage site of UNESCO in Kathmandu). We follow gradual ascend through pine forest and green hills until we reach at Telkot. Again, we follow continuous ascend by following a Hindu temple, Tamang cultural village, terraces farmland all the way to Nagarkot. Once we reach and explore the views of surrounding from Nagarkot either we can drive back to Kathmandu same day or overnight stay over there for tantalizing sunrise view over the Himalayas in next morning, there is several sophisticated hotel and resorts available.
