Detailed Itinerary:

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m/4,592ft) and transfer to Hotel.

Our representatives would receive and welcome you at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. From the airport, you may opt to transfer to any hotel or resort, check in to your chosen room and have some relaxation until evening, where we would go for a brief of your trip.

Accommodation: Hotel or Resort as per your request.

Meal includes: Breakfast. We prefer BB plan for your stay in cities so you can choose varieties of tastes in different restaurants around the city.

Day 02: Sightseeing tour in Kathmandu/preparation for the trek.

Once you have your breakfast in the morning, our professional tour guides would take you to experience sightseeing tour of Kathmandu City. Here, we visit some cultural heritage sites, as mentioned in UNESCO. These include-

Swoyambhunath


Swoyambhunath is a famous yet the oldest Stupa of Buddhist religion belonging to Kathmandu valley. The spot acts as a beautiful abode for large numbers of monkeys, because of which tourists and local area people call it the Monkey Temple.

Pashupatinath


Pashupatinath acts as a holy pilgrimage for Hindu Crematorium and Hindus, where you may watch cremated dead bodies of Hindu people in a unique way across the world. Day 03: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (2800m/9184ft) (45 min flight) & Trek from Lukla to Phakding (2640m/8659ft) (3 hrs trek).

We would have breakfast as early as possible and later on, drive towards airport for flight towards Lukla at about 2,800 meters of height, recognized as the gateway towards the Mount Everest region accompanied with the professional trekking guide.

Once we move on the flight, we could enjoy various stunning beauties present in rugged foothills providing the way towards snowline comprising the Majestic Himalayan region. Now, you could get views of worldwide famous and highest mountains. These include Makalu V, Lhotse IV, Kanchenjunga III and various other snow capped mountains.

After your adventurous flight for a period of about half an hour, you could land in Lukla and view the respective beautiful yet scenic mountain town of the famous Everest Region. Here, we walk for 4 hours to reach Phakding village cum mountain town. By, following descending walk, you could pass from Dudh Koshi River and later on, you would reach at Phakding Village for staying in the overnight.

Day 04: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m/11283ft) (5-6 hrs trek).

Initial part of today’s trek would take you usually on gradual uphill and flat trails across the famous Dudh Koshi River towards the suspension bridge of Hillary. Followed by this point, We experience steep uphill walk for the first time during your Everest trail. During this period, you could view outstanding beauties of the famous Namche Bazaar and Namche town.

On your way towards the town of Namche, you will get an opportunity of viewing a few of the famous Himalayan peaks, which include Khumblia, Cholatsem, Thamserku and Tabuche recognized as sacred mountains. These mountains also have the major role to protect the entire Khumbu glacier region and other nearby mountains.

Day 05: A day for rest at Namche Bazaar - for acclimatization.

We would have our rest day in the Namche Bazaar and thereby prepare ourselves for acclimatisation. Here, we would hike to the viewpoint of Everest for a period of about two hours in the uphill and get panoramic views of Amadablam, Nuptse and Mount Everest, along with other mountain peaks of Himalayas. On the other side, we would hike in the downward direction towards the Namche town to spend remaining hours of the day by exploring the locals of Namche Bazaar.

Day 06: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tyangboche (3867m/12683ft) (5-6 hrs trek).

Our trek on this day would start from Namche Bazaar towards Tyangboche. Initially, we have to walk on the mountain flat and downhill trails towards Phungi Thanga for a period of about four hours. Later on, we should go for a steep walk for two and half hours to reach at the famous Tyangboche, where you could view the footprints of an ancient yogi of Tibet named Milarepa.

Day 07: Trek from Tyangboche to Dingboche (4260m/13972ft) (5-6 hrs trek).

By paving your trail from Diboche, We cross Imja Khola towards Pangboche and Dingboche i.e. destinations of today’s trek. While you walk across flat regions of Nepal by following both down and up trails sometimes, you will experience enchanting views comprising various snow-capped mountains luring you to get further close to Mount Everest. After following a trail of about 5 to 6 hours, you would get stay opportunity in a mountain lodge.

Day 08: Acclimatization. Side trip from Dingboche. Overnight at Dingboche.

After you reach at such a high altitude, your body requires some time to adjust with the weather. Because of this, we have included one day of rest at Dingboche and allow you to acclimatize to the climatic condition of high altitude. However, instead of sitting idle, we would encourage you to ascend the nearby hill that remains behind Dingboche, for which you require only hours to reach at its top.

Day 09: Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche (4930m/16170ft) (5-6 hrs trek).

On this trekking day, we walk on the pace across Himalayan trails and get further steps towards the base camp of worldwide highest mountain peak. By walking for about 5 hours, you will view memorials of Dughla pass and thereby reach to the nearby beautiful village of the mountain region named Lobuche to get an overnight stay.

Day 10: Trek from Lobuche to Gorakshep (5180m/16990ft) then trek to Everest Base Camp (5380m/17646ft) and back to Gorakshep (7-8 Hrs Trek).

Here, we would have a long day trekking trail towards Gorashep, checking in to the nearby lodge and walk across the base camp. Later on, we would return to Gorakshep for staying at night. Despite of a long trek, it would give you tons of excitements, as the trek would give you the opportunity to stay at base camp. We walk across the highest located glacier worldwide i.e. Khumbu Glacier and cross another Changri Glacier while walking ahead to Gorakshep for staying during the nighttime.

Day 11: Morning Hike up to KalaPatthar (5545m/18187ft) back to Gorakshep. Fly back to Kathmandu by Helicopter flight.

We wake up very early to reach Kalapattar, recognized as the highest point of the entire trek i.e. at about 5545 meters. Best thing about the place is that it provides you with magnificent views of the famous and worldwide tallest Mount Everest and various other mountain peaks belonging to the Himalayan Mountain Range. Later on, we would hike down further towards Gorakshep. Finally, after having breakfast, we would walk down towards Pheriche or Lobuche and fly back with the helicopter to capital city of Nepal i.e. Kathmandu.

Day 12: Free day at leisure.

On this day, we will explore the main parts of Kathmandu valley along with shopping mall and we will organize a farewell dinner with Adventure Mountain Team.

Day 13: Final departure. Drop to airport as per flight schedule.

We would make sure to transfer you to the Tribhuvan International Airport, so you could go for your final departure and take memorable moments associated with your entire Mount Everest Helicopter tour.

Normally, Within 12-24 hours after ascending a certain height (1,500 to 2,500 meter above sea level) altitude sickness symptoms like dizziness, fatigue, loss of appetite, sleep problems, loss of energy, and shortness of breath are seen. In case of any altitude sickness symptoms we will apply medication and descend immediately for acclimatization.
