Day by Day Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m/4,592ft).
Our team will peak you on your arrival in the Kathmandu International Airport and from there, we will take you to the nearby hotel or resort. After you rest for a few hours, we will take you to view the scenic beauties of Kathmandu City. These include Patan Darbar Square and a few of the famous Stupas and temples.
Day 02: Drive from Kathmandu to Lumbini.
Today, we will drive from Kathmandu for about 7 to 8 hours to reach at the birthplace of Lord Buddha named Lumbini.
Day 03:
Visit around Birthplace of Lord Buddha.
Day 04: Lumbini to Sravasti.
Day 05: Saravasti to Kushinagar.
Today, we will drive from Saravasti to reach Kushinagar by following two famous towns named Gorakhpur and Basti. During the afternoon time, we will visit Ramabhare and Mahaparinirvana stupas. Mahaparinirvana stupa is the place, where Lord Buddha’s statue remains placed in the reclining position, while Lord Buddha preached a sermon for the last time in Ramabhare stupa.
Day 06:
Kushinagar to Keshariya–Vaishali–Patna.
We will start our drive from Kushinagar to reach Patna. However, on our way, we will stop at two places named Kashariya and Vaishali. In Keshariya, you will come across the worldwide tallest stupa of about 104 feet and Vaishali constitutes the center of the second congregation of Buddhist Council, which has taken place after about 100 years of parinirvana of Lord Buddha.
Day 07: Patna–Nalanda–Rajgir- Bodh Gaya.
Today, we will drive to reach at Bodh Gaya and during our journey; we will visit to Nalanda and Rajgir. By visiting Rajgir, we will find hot springs, Saptapami Cave, and the famous Vishwa Shanti Stupa. On the other side, Nalanda visit lets us to discover many famous temples, stupas, museums and the ruins of ancient Nalanda University.
Day 08: Extra day to visit the sights and sounds of Bodhgaya.
Today, we will have our extra day to experience sightseeing in Bodhgaya. We will visit the Great Buddha Statue, Mahabodhi Temple, Bodhi Tree, Tergar Monastery, and various other Buddhist pilgrims spots of the region.
Day 09: Bodhgaya–Sarnath–Varanasi.
After a wonderful experience in Bodhgaya, today we will move on to reach Varanasi. However, before this, we will visit Sarnath, where Lord Buddha delivered sermon for the first time after he attained Nirvana. Here, you will find many beautiful Buddhist monuments and stupas, including the Chaukhandi Stupa and Dhamekha Stupa.
Day 10: Fly back to Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel.
Day 11: Final departure. Drop to airport as per flight schedule.
Finally, we will drop you to the Tribhuvan International Airport, so you may make your return journey.

What happens if it rains or snows ?
Generally we plan everything and choose a favorable time for a tour. As it is the work of nature it may rain or snow during the trek . If it rains or snows during the event of the city tour and we have to drive toward the tour destinations then we will continue the tour. If it is raining or snowing during the day of exploration then guests can choose either to continue or not on mutual agreement.
Does the tour guide accept gratuities ?
Tour guides do not expect gratuities but always appreciate it. We are also thankful for your feedback on Google, Trip Advisor, or Facebook.
Are cameras allowed on the tour ?
The answer is yes!! Guests can bring their camera and its gears during the tour so that they can capture the memory and document them for future remembrance. It allows them to share the experience with family and friends. Just make sure to take proper care of it. We will not be liable for any damage or loss of it.
