Day by Day Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m/4,592ft) and transfer to Hotel.

Our team will meet at the Tribhuvan International Airport of Kathmandu, from where you could reach at the nearby hotel. After you freshen up, we will invite you in our office and brief about the entire trekking program.

Day 02: Mountain biking sightseeing tour around Kathmandu Valley.

On this day, leave for a sightseeing tour for the entire dayacross the valley of Kathmandu. During this journey, you may visit ancient and famous worldwide heritage sites, especially the ones enlisted in UNESCO, like Swyambhunath and Pashupatinath. In addition, you will be able to come across the famous stupa of Buddhist religion named Boudhnath and find various fine arts as well as historic architecture of Durbar Square in the city.

Day 03: Biking from Kathmandu to Kakani (Shivapuri Forest).

We will start with our biking tour with a ride of about 35 kilometers from the city of Kathmandu to reach the Nepal’s famous picnic spot of Kakani, where we will view the beautiful mountain peaks/ranges including Dhaulagiri and Annapurna ranges. After this, our biking team will pass from Shivapuri Forest that acts as a home to more than 120 mushrooms’ species, 2000 floral species and 318 varieties of birds.

Day 04: Ride from Kakani to Chisapani.

On this day, we will move ahead to get a breathtaking experience via our mountain biking tour to reach at the popular hill station of Nepal i.e. Chisapani.

Day 05: Ride from Chisapani to Dhulikhel via Nagarkot.

Chisapani means cold water, from where you have to go for 45 kilometers of bike ride to reach the famous scenic valley of Nepal named Dhulikhel. Here, you will not only be able to enjoy Newari culture but also get views of few famous destinations named Khopasi, Panauti and Navo Buddha. Moreover, before reaching Dhulikhel, you will pass from the famous Nagarkot hill to get panoramic mountain views in Nepal.

Day 06: Ride from Dhulikhel to Namo Buddha & Balthali Village.

We will go for a wide bike trail to Namo Buddha temple rewarded with various panoramic views of the famous Ganesh Himal and sacred sites of Tibetan Buddhists. Once we did with viewing beauties of the entire Namo Buddha temple and nearby area, we will continue with biking from orchards and green fields to reach at the quiet Balthali village to take rest for the day and have picnic lunch. Here also we will get the opportunity to view amazing mountains and green farmlands.

Day 07: Ride from Balthali to Lakuri Bhanjyang and Godavari.

Now, move ahead from the village of Balthali to reach at Godavari. At this place, we will have some light breakfast and on the same day, we will visit Lakuri Bhanjyang. This place acts as a paradise for most of the Nepal tourists.

Day 08: Ride from Godawari to Chapagaon, Bungamati & Hattiban.

Now, starting from Godawari, move forward to another popular village Chapagaon located nearby the river Bagmati. On the same day, we will go to another historical village Bungamati recognized as the birthplace of famous Rato Machhendranath and the Patan’s patron God. From this, our biking tour will further move ahead to reach at Hattiban and here, we will stay for the night.

Day 09: Ride from Hattiban to Dakshinkali, Pharping & Kathmandu.

Today, our biking team will ride to the renowned Dakshinkali temple. For this, we will pass from various rustic village areas and follow Himalayan views on the right side. In addition, on the way, we will come across a thriving Newari town named Pharping, where you will find most of its Buddhist pilgrimage sites as taken over by Tibetan people. Finally, we will come back to the capital city of Nepal i.e. Kathmandu on the tarmac road.

Day 10: Final departure. Drop to airport as per flight schedule.

Our team will drop you to the Tribhuvan International Airport, so that you may catch your flight and make a safe journey.

For Hike and bike adventure you should have intermediate level of biking skills because you will be riding along rough terrains and mountains. There is no age limit if you are able to ride a bike you can go for adventure mountain biking and hiking. Absolutely, there are multiple routes to multiple destinations with different levels of difficulty thus you can choose the route according to your skills and experience. How to prepare for a Hike and Bike Adventure ?

If you have decided to go for adventure hiking and biking certainly there are some preparations you should make.

Payment & Info:At the time of booking pay the required amount and collect all the documents and information as much as you can. Make sure to check our cancellation and refund policy for clear understanding.

Clothing and Footwear: This is the second most important thing you should consider during a hike and bike adventure. You should always wear comfortable shoes and also take hiking season into consideration so that you can buy clothes accordingly.

Food and Drink: Bring snacks or foods as you desire and a bottle of water or other drinks of your choice. Also do not forget to bring a garbage bag.

 

How many guides does Hike and Bike Adventure have ?

Generally, Hike and Bike Adventure is in charge of a single guide. We may require additional guides for more guests and multiple hiking or biking routes.
Also if you are planning for a self guided tour we are more than happy to make the required arrangements for mountain bikes and every other thing you may need but we suggest you to have a guide that is not that costly and it has many perks then self guided tour.

 

Can I bring my own bike ?

Yes!! There are no restrictions for bringing your own bike. You are welcome to do so but you should know that we will not be responsible for its possible damages and safety.

  

What is the cancellation policy ?

Adventure Mountain Trek offers you a lifetime policy through which you can renew your booking amount for another trek although if you want to cancel it then we will refund you as per our trip cancellation terms procedure.
