Day by Day Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel.

Our representative for airport arrival and the departure will remain present at the famous Tribhuwan International Airport at your own schedule of arrival. We would transfer you to the hotel, while our staffs would help in check-in procedure.

Day 02: Guided tour around world’s Heritage sites of Kathmandu.

Before you would begin with your actual trek, our tour guides would allow you to have a look on various worldwide heritage sites found in the capital city of Nepal i.e. Kathmandu.

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (820m/2,689ft).

We would go for a drive of about 5 to 6 hours to Pokhara from Kathmandu by passing through various zigzag and scenic hilly roads. Pokhara is a small but a beautiful town located on banks of the famous Fewa Lake. This is of relatively small size and acts as a perfect point to get a start with the trek..

Day 04:Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul (1 & half hr drive) & Trek to Tikhedhunga (1,577m/5,172ft).

We would go for a short drive of about one and a half hours to the Nayapul and later on, walk for 3 to 4 hours to reach at the first point at about 1,577 meters altitude at Tikhedhunga.

Day 05: Trek from Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani (2,855m/9,364ft).

Ghorepani is in between the areas covered with rhododendron forests. Trek to this place lets you to get full enjoyment with viewing of beautiful rhododendron flowers while you stay in over the night hotels.

Day 06: Early morning hike to Poonhill (3,210m/10,528ft) & trek to Tadapani (2,590m/8,495ft).

In this stage, walk for about 5 to 6 hours. We would move out in the early morning to climb up the famous Poonhill to view sunrise and Annapurna Mountain at 180 degrees. After this, would get back to hotels to have breakfast and then continue with a walk. The best thing that would make our today’s trek memorable is that it gives stunning views of nature from Poon Hill.

Day 07: Trek from Tadapani to Chhomrong (2,340m/7,675ft).

Once you reach to Tadapani, you further require walking for 5 hours to 6 hours to reach Chhomrong at the altitude of 2,340 meters..

Day 08: Trek from Chhomrong to Dobhan (2,600m/8,528ft).

We would ascend for a long journey involving steep stoned type staircase from Chhomrong to Kuldi. Our trail would continue from beautiful forests comprising rhododendron flowers and reach to Sinuwa, from where we would move ahead to Bamboo, while opt for staying during overnight. By continuing to follow the trail comprises steep rocks, you will reach to the Dobhan village at the deep rhododendron forests and bamboo overstays.

Day 09: Trek from Dobhan to Machhapuchre Base Camp (3,700m/12,136ft).

Route towards the excursion of Annapurna Base Camp goes in steep way across the bank of rocks and later on, levels out. Starting Dobhan, the trail goes steeply upwards from deep forests of rhododendron to reach at Machhapuchre Base Camp..

Day 10: A day excursion of Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m/13,546ft).

We have to get up early morning to get stunning sunrise views of the famous Annapurna Base Camp and panoramic views of Gangapurna, Annapurna 1, Annapurna South and Annapurna III. Entire trekking would give you a pleasant lifetime experience.

Day 11: By Helicopter flight back to Pokhara & overnight at Lake Side Pokhara.

On completion of our excursion to ABC, we would start with our return trip towards Pokhara would allow us to get close views of various amazing landscapes and stunning mountains. Hence, the helicopter journey provides an ultimate way to wind up the trekking experience to Annapurna base camp.

Day 12: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu.

Now, we require a drive of about four hours to reach the capital city of Nepal i.e. Kathmandu by starting from Pokhara. We would pass from Prithvi Highway providing scenic yet zigzag hilly roads across the banks of famous Trishuli River.

Day 13: Final departure. Drop to airport as per flight schedule.

What about altitude Sickness ?

Normally, Within 12-24 hours after ascending a certain height(1,500 to 2,500 meter above sea level) altitude sickness symptoms like dizziness, fatigue, loss of appetite, sleep problems, loss of energy, and shortness of breath are seen. In case of any altitude sickness symptoms we will apply medication and descend immediately for acclimatization.
