Trip Overview

  • Charm of ancient civilization and mix culture of Tibet and Nepal.
  • Treasure valley, an alternative trip of Annapurna Circuit trek.
  • Opened since after 2002 under the permit of authorized sector.
  • Attachment of High passes like Thorang la pass, Kang la pass and colourful charisma of human efforts over nature appeal.

Thorong la Pass Trek is also a golden part of the trekking world which helps to put forward inspiring moments. Nar Phu Valley is also known as the hidden valley. It is the isolated part of the popular Annapurna Circuit Trekking. Every aspect of Nar Phu valley is like Tibet; its landscapes, mountains, flora and fauna, monasteries, language, chanting, People, their lifestyle, and the culture of people. For those who want to be in the Annapurna and witness the high, white, glistening mountains of this area, but who want to be off the beaten track, the Nar Phu Valley trek might just be what they are looking for.

In fact, this hidden valley requires a special permit to enter. Situated just off the Annapurna Circuit route; the trail to Nar Phu explores remote villages, Tibetan-like peoples, forests, narrow canyons, Buddhist Gompa, and majestic mountains. Once through the narrow, forested ‘entrance’ a whole other world awaits. Although the days are not as long as on some other treks, 5-6 hours, it is a challenging trek. We recommend you to have a good fitness level and prior trekking experience.  The mountains that seen along this route among the stunning rock formations and glaciers are breathtaking.

Passing through the Nar Phu Valley it is possible to take in the culture of the people living there. In this still remote area, the farmers live as they have always done, growing potatoes, barley, buckwheat, and vegetables, and raising yaks and sheep.

For trekkers having enough time period who wish to achieve the Annapurna Summit are recommended to choose another package Mt. Annapurna expedition - 54 days.
