Lobuche Climb (6,119m) is an impressive Himalaya trekking in the Khumbu region of Nepal. It lies close to Khumbu Glacier and the village of Lobuche. The peak was the first to summit by Laurence Nielson and Ang Gyalzen Sherpa on April 25, 1984 AD. There are two main peaks; Lobuche East and Lobuche Far East. There is a big crevasse between two separate Lobuche Peaks. Lobuche being a beautiful mountain offers various existing routes and also a possibility for brand spanking new ones. The dark triangle of its rocky East face rises over the moraines of the Khumbu Glacier. It forms a spectacular skyline, forming the south ridge.

Trekking and Climbing Pvt. Ltd begins after spending a day in the capital city Kathmandu with a day guided sightseeing tour around world heritage sites of UNESCO, preparation of essential equipment checklists
& to get permitted for Lobuche East Peak Climbing. Then we make a
short picturesque flight to Tenzing–Hillary Airport at Lukla which is an entrance of Khumbu & Everest. From Lukla, we start our walking journey through gentle ascends followed by few descends, crossing the bank of Dudh Koshi River, cross many mani walls, stone carvings and
dense forests of Pine all the way to Phakding and Namche Bazaar. We also know the Namche Bazaar as a ‘ kingdom of Sherpas ‘. Namche Bazaar is a
perfect place to spend another night by making a day hike to Syangboche view point at 3,780m/12,398ft, Everest View Hotel and Khumjung Monastery as an acclimatization day.
We continue ascend that leads through the same route of EBC up to
Dingboche then we turn northeast towards Chhukung Valley. Then we head
to Lobuche Base Camp via a crossing of an adventurous Kongma La Pass. We
take a full day at Lobuche East Base Camp to be fully prepared and
acclimatized for the summit. It is essential to set a camp at High Camp
(5,400m) before heading to the main summit. Once we reach at the summit,
we will be rewarded by impressive views of world’s admired mountains
including Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Amadablam, Cholatse, Pumori and
many other snow-covered peaks.
After having a short and extraordinary time at the top, we safely
retrace our steeps via same descends to Lobuche Base Camp. After there,
we again follow gradual descend of the normal EBC route all the way to
Lukla and fly back to Kathmandu to conclude our adventure journey of
Lobuche Climbing in Nepal.
