An impressive peak Chulu Far East (6,059m) falls within the Annapurna Region of Nepal elevated north of the Marsyangdi River. There are three separate peaks of Chulus’ that likely to summit as a peak climbing adventure; Chulu East Peak (6,584 meters), Chulu West Peak (6,419 meters), and Chulu Far East itself with an altitude of 6,059 meters above water level. Among those three peaks, Chulu Far East Peak Climbing is relatively less technical and harmless as per elevation variation and technical sections. the height was first climbed by a member of the German Expedition Team in 1955 AD. The package trip may be a combination of Annapurna Circuit Thorong La Pass Trekking with Peak Climbing adventure.

Chulu Massif rises north of the Marshyangdi River within the Manang region and forms a neighborhood of the Manang Himal. This region is kind of rightly included within the larger Damodar Himal. Moreover, this remote upland area lies to the north of and through an area formed by the foremost Annapurna Himal. Also, huge glacial moraines abound etched deeply by wind erosion into fantastic pillars.

Trekking in Chulu Far east

Chulu Far East Peak Climbing isn't difficult which we'll settle a high camp near the col. From that col, we follow the long South-West ridge on snow and ice. Although the approach up the Marshyangdi is relatively quick and involves no great altitude gain, the trek takes you thru an exquisite landscape and culture. Similarly, we start from the subtropical lower land of Marshyangdi river valley with beautiful terraced fields where Gurung culture is dominated. In upper a neighborhood of the valley in and around Manang, Manange people dominates the region with distinct ethnic, cultural and social practice than people of the region. We then cross the famous Thorong La ( 5,416 m ) high pass before dropping to Jomsom. After then we will downstream the Kali Gandaki River. We fly back to Kathmandu via Pokhara.

After having a brief and extraordinary time at the highest, we safely retrace our steeps via the same descends to Chulu Far East Base Camp. After there, we continue the trail to Manang to merge the trail into the most trail of Annapurna Circuit. Similarly, we follow gradually Yak Kharka, Thorong Phedi, Thorong La Pass, Muktinath, and Jomsom then fly to Pokhara to conclude the Chulu Far East Peak Climbing Adventure trip with the Adventure Mountain Nepal family.

Essential Information

Chulu Far East Peak Climbing Route:

Officially regulated day-to-day itinerary of 21 days Chulu Far East Peak Climbing adventure package trip with Adventure Mountain Nepal Trekking and Climbing Pvt. Ltd begins after spending a day in the capital city Kathmandu with a day guided sightseeing tour around the world heritage sites of UNESCO, preparation of essential equipment checklists & to get permitted for Chulu Far East Peak Climbing. Leaving Kathmandu we follow the trail of Annapurna Circuit, walk around world’s top ten trekking destination, follow amazing landscapes, walk through forests of Rhodendron, Pine, and Fir trees as well as experience Tibetan Buddhist culture before we reach at beautiful Tibetan village of Pisang.

Once we take a full day exploration and rest at Upper Pisang, we feel physically and mentally prepared with proper acclimatization, start to ascend through sparse wood and yak grazing fields up to Pisang Peak Base Camp at 4,380 meters. Next day, start a day early in the morning, follow a slow and steady walk towards High Camp since in a single day we have to ascend over 1000 meters. After getting all information, strategies and climbing techniques from our experienced climbing guide, we ascend more through snows (from High Camp; we start following snow trails up to the summit) to reach the top of Pisang Peak at 6,091 meters.

After Pisang, we again continue our walk to Humde Village–a Tibetan cultural village then follow the less explored route which splits out from the main trail of Annapurna Circuit. Thus we set up a tented camp accommodation at Julu Khola before reach at Chulu Far East Base Camp. We take a day at Julu Khola and another one day at Base Camp to be familiar with altitudes as acclimatization before heading towards higher altitude.

Once we reach the top of the Chulu Far East Peak, we will be rewarded by the views of world’s popular mountains such as Annapurna I, Annapurna II, Annapurna III, Annapurna IV, Dhaulagiri, Gangapurna, Manaslu, Glacier Dome, Chulu West, Pisang Peak, and other snowcapped peaks.
