Gosaikunda Lake is a famous lake of Nepal, at the height of about 4380meters in Rasuwa district. It is about 150 kilometers towards the northern region of Kathmandu City. The lake constitutes a pilgrimage site at the time of Janai Purnima. A one-hour short trek from the Gosaikunda Lake will take you to Aama Kunda and Surya Kunda as well as other small lakes in combination with views of Langtang Lirung and Ganesh Himal.
