Mt. Ama Dablam, the toughest and highly technical mountain to climb in the Everest region of Nepal. The word Ama Dablam denotes Ama (mother) & Dablam (necklace), which means Mother’s Necklace has two separate peaks; one is the main peak 6812m and the lower western peak at 6170 meters. Even the trekkers of Everest Base Camp and Kala Patther can feel from their trail Mt. Ama Dablam dominates the blue sky. The mount Ama Dablam is less in altitude than Mt. Everest (8848m), takes few days than Everest Expedition but comparatively it is a most technical and difficult mountain to climb where one has to cross challenging ice rocks, snow walls and sleepy narrow steeps.

We, Adventure Mountain Nepal Trekking and Climbing Team have been taking a high degree of seriousness to minimize possible risk while operating adventure activities, offering Ama Dablam Expedition via Island Peak Climbing. Before go to Ama Dablam Expedition, our suggestion would climb Nepal’s popular trekking peak “Island Peak” as a warm-up climb which helps to re-generate physical strength, ability to climb, adjust with altitude and familiar to use climbing gears.
